Is it possible to save your progress while you are in a middle of a level? I'm not very good at this game and I like to take my time and slowly do this, and to be honest some levels took me about 40minutes to complete! Some indie games has this feature and I think it would be nice to see it on this game.

EDIT: This answer is no longer accurate, since the V1.1 update. See next post...

Sorry, but no. There's currently no option to save in the middle of a doodle. It's all or nothing. You can open the pause menu in the middle of a doodle and leave the game running, to come back later to finish the level. But that is of course no option if you want to shut down the computer, not just take a pause and do something else for a while.

I have just released version 1.1 of the game, and this version includes such a mid-level save feature. When you exit a level in the middle of playing it (either to select a new level or to quit the game), you will have the option to save your progress in the level, and when later you enter this level again, you have the option to load this saved state. :)
