Hey guys!

Postby codergames » Fri Jun 04, 2010 5:32 pm

Just to say hi, I'm new here, sorry to hear about what happened to the database. With that said, I'm going to introduce myself although this may be the wrong part of the forum, not sure though.

I'm a new indie game developer, released my first game in April this year, working on a second one already and just want to say that its great finding fellow indies on the Internet and communicate. Since I'm new to whole independent game development part, I'm looking for cool and useful advices all the time. Stumbled upon your site by accident, was looking for something else on Google, still indie related.

Keep up the good work guys!

Hi and thanks!

I already finished the first game, its a "classic" shoot em up with a modern approach and 3d graphics and artificial intelligence, some physics, etc. called Invader Attack, although the movie is of the old version of the game, its fast pace now with more features.

I'm currently working on a new scroller shooter called Galaxide, but its still early to estimate when it'll be finished, although I did finish 40-50% of it, have some early screeshots:

Tell me what you think?

Thanks again! ... and sorry for the delay

Hey, no worries on the slow response!

We're rushed off our feet this week prepping for our trip to E3 next week.. so many discs to duplicate and pitch documents to print! heh - all good fun :)

Had a quick look at your game over lunch and it looks cool! I'm a big fan of space invaders and it's always great to see new takes on it.

If you're after any advice or feedback on your next game we'd be happy to take a look at any point - just let us know!

Thanks man! Its still early to present anything else of my second game, I did manage to model the laser turret today, but since I had no time to code the behavior and AI related to it, I can't show anything other than what's already on site. Should have more in few weeks, hopefully much more. I work hard and relatively fast. I'm dropping you PM, have questions.
